Five for Friday 12/13

5. You can’t hit what you can’t see-I’ve been in a lot of classrooms across three schools in my near decade as an administrator, but during an observation of Mrs Cross this Thursday it was the first time I’ve seen a PE teacher with their learning targets posted. There’s not necessarily a perfect way to do it, and in the end, it’s as much about the students understanding the how and why as it is having them posted, but it was awesome nonetheless to see this!

4. A Little Bit of Caring - GOES A LONG WAY! It was really cool to see several staff members jump in and make sure every single page student got a candygram/popcorn. It meant the world to several students that they got one. Keep being AWESOME! It takes hard work to make a difference, but in the end hard work never takes more than it gives back!

3. Speaking of popcorn…-Super shout out to Mrs. Krul, Mrs Sharkey and our student council for making this happen. It was really cool to see this come together. Back to back popcorn days are not easy, but it certainly brought a lot of joy to our students here at Page!

2. Oh, and speaking of student council….They hosted their own canned food drive. They had an impressive haul and are certainly making some people’s holiday merry! They've also been decorating the baskets out front, and selling "smencils" to use the proceeds to help those in need. What a great way to pay it forward.

1. Secret Santa--What a great way for the staff to get into the spirit of the season. Page staff joined together to find out who had been their secret Santa this past week. What a great, fun way to end the week on a positive note!
