Five For Friday 9/25 - Here are just 5 of the many amazing things that happened at Page this week!

5. Anonymous Thank You - Some days Mr. Holmes and I running a little late getting out to the parking lot to direct traffic. I couldn't help but notice that a parent has been putting out the cones we use to shape traffic for us. So while I'm not certain who is doing it, I am grateful to our anonymous helper nonetheless. THANK YOU

4. Non-Anonymous Thank You - The office staff got a special thank you from the K-5 TKVS teachers on Thursday. K-5 TKVS is housed here at Page and it was an incredibly thoughtful gesture from our virtual teachers!

3. Collaboration Station - Just want to give a shout out to the teaching staff for PHENOMENAL collaboration on our half day. Both 4th grade and 5th grade teams were on fire working together to enhance teaching and learning to benefit Page students.

2. Special Delivery - Mrs. Sikkema asked a student to put a math assignment in student mailboxes. The student misunderstood, and brought the assignment down to the office and placed them in teacher mailboxes. This communication glitch led to a kindhearted laugh among the staff. This included our beloved librarian Mrs. Knight actually doing the assignment and turning it in. Continuing with the fun the assignment was graded and given back to Mrs Knight.

1. Find Your Voice and Dream Big - Last year Mrs. Potter ran with a cool assignment. Her students and Mrs. Meredith's students redesigned the cover of their favorite book. During the COVID Shutdown she also had students write letters to the author. One student, Amelia, also received a response from the author. Wednesday Amelia's class with Mrs. Kahafer even got to connect with the author virtually. A great message from Kelly Yang on finding your voice and dreaming big! SO AWESOME all around!!!! PS since the majority of this actually took place during the COVID shutdown PLEASE don't believe the nonsense that teachers weren't teaching and students weren't learning! They were here, but what would you expect from a group that is so TKSTRONG!
